Required Skills & Experience

• Strong production development experience with React and TypeScript
• Experience building complex, dynamic forms, including conditional logic, validation, calculations, and schema-based design
• Experience with client-side routing, server-state management, and REST API integrations
• Experience developing accessible and responsive interfaces using a modern component library
• Strong understanding of clean architecture, separation of concerns, reusable components, and maintainable application design
• Experience writing unit, integration, and component tests with a focus on meaningful test coverage
• Experience with cloud-based authentication and user management
• Experience supporting secure file upload/download and storage workflows
• Experience with coding standards, peer reviews, and automated quality checks

• Experience with RFP, proposal management, procurement, or similar workflow-driven business applications

Job Description

A large local utility company is looking for a Software Developer to support and enhance a production RFP management portal used throughout the proposal submission, review, data request, and document export process. This person will work primarily within a React and TypeScript codebase, developing and enhancing features across proposal, reviewer, and administrative workflows. They will build and maintain complex dynamic forms, validations, calculations, repeatable sections, real-time updates, auto-save functionality, file handling, and document exports. This developer will collaborate with the existing technical team, write automated tests, participate in code reviews, follow established development standards, and periodically present new features to business stakeholders.
