Job Description

The Site Shuttle Driver will be responsible for safely transporting employees, visitors, contractors, and potentially senior-level stakeholders between designated parking areas and locations throughout a large, active data center construction site. Because personal vehicles are restricted from the site, this person will serve as a key transportation resource while also acting as a professional, customer-facing representative of the project team. The ideal candidate has previous construction-site experience, understands how to safely navigate around heavy equipment and active work zones, and is comfortable adjusting routes as site conditions, roads, and access points change. This person should be highly personable, dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of an organization.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Safely transport employees, contractors, visitors, and project leadership between parking areas and designated locations throughout the data center construction site using a company-provided 12-passenger van.
  • Navigate an active construction environment, maintaining awareness of heavy equipment, construction traffic, restricted areas, pedestrian activity, temporary roads, and other changing site hazards.
  • Stay current on changing site maps, traffic patterns, road closures, access points, and approved driving routes, adjusting transportation routes as construction progresses.
  • Provide a professional and customer-focused experience for passengers, including visitors and senior-level stakeholders, while serving as a knowledgeable and personable representative of the site team.
  • Maintain safe and reliable daily shuttle operations, including basic vehicle inspections, communicating transportation or site-access issues, following project safety requirements, and coordinating with site personnel as needed.
