Required Skills & Experience

• Design and develop production-grade AI applications and agents using Microsoft Foundry, Foundry Agent Service, and associated software development kits.
• Build agent capabilities using Python and/or C#/.NET, with configuration and infrastructure managed as code.
• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications using appropriate Azure services.
• Automate application and infrastructure deployment using Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent infrastructure-as-code technologies.

Job Description

Pfizer is seeking a hands-on Senior Technical Engineer to design, develop, build, integrate, and operate secure, scalable AI applications and agents using Microsoft Foundry and the broader Azure ecosystem. This role will help turn business opportunities into production-ready technical solutions. The engineer will work across application development, AI engineering, cloud infrastructure, enterprise integration, security, and DevOps. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing production code, designing solution architecture, troubleshooting Azure services, and collaborating with product owners, architects, platform teams, and business stakeholders. The engineer will primarily support use cases requiring deeper customization, multi-agent orchestration, custom user experiences, complex data processing, or cross-system integration beyond low-code capabilities. Pfizer’s current guidance identifies these as the scenarios in which a pro-code Foundry approach provides the most value.
