Senior Salesforce Consultant

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on Salesforce expertise, ideally someone who has worked in a senior consultant, architect, or lead capacity
• Ability to understand the organization's Salesforce strategy and business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Experience making recommendations on the best approach for Salesforce enhancements, configurations, integrations, and development
• Hands-on ability to design, configure, develop, and implement solutions within Salesforce
• Ability to work independently and provide both strategic guidance and technical execution Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer, Platform App Builder, Administrator, or Application Architect
• Experience evaluating an existing Salesforce environment and recommending improvements
• Experience supporting Salesforce integrations with other enterprise applications Experience working in a consulting environment where they have owned projects from recommendation through implementation

Job Description

In simple terms, this person will be the Salesforce expert the team can lean on for both guidance and execution. They will look at what the organization is trying to accomplish, understand how Salesforce is currently being used, and recommend the best way to build or improve functionality within the platform. They won't just tell the team what to do. They'll be expected to actually help build and implement the solutions they recommend. That could include configuring Salesforce, supporting development, improving existing functionality, troubleshooting issues, and helping determine the best technical approach for new requests.
