Job Description
We are seeking a senior-level Implementation Project Manager to lead approximately eight third-party application implementations supporting its enterprise Epic program. These applications are currently at various phases of implementation, ranging from testing and application readiness through cutover planning and go-live preparation. This individual will inherit the projects from an existing PM and be responsible for driving all remaining implementation activities through stabilization and hypercare.
The Project Manager will serve as the central coordinator across vendors, application owners, analysts, infrastructure teams, interface teams, testing teams, and operational stakeholders to ensure each application is successfully delivered. They will oversee project planning, stakeholder communication, risk and issue management, testing coordination, cutover readiness, and go-live execution while managing multiple workstreams at different stages simultaneously. Responsibilities include tracking milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and project health across the portfolio; coordinating functional testing, application readiness testing, map record testing, and IT testing activities; leading vendor engagement and issue resolution; facilitating escalation management; ensuring go-live readiness; and guiding each implementation through initial stabilization and hypercare. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, self-sufficient healthcare IT Project Manager who can quickly assume ownership of in-flight projects and independently lead complex implementations with minimal oversight.
