Senior Emulator / Platform Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

-4–8+ years in platform, systems, or infrastructure software engineering. -Experience with emulators, virtual devices, or Android platform internals. -Strong CI/CD integration experience; comfortable in large monorepo environments. -Proficiency in Python and at least one systems language (C++/Java/Kotlin).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Android AOSP, AVD/Goldfish, or similar virtual-device platform experience. -XR/AR platform exposure. -Experience preparing software for public/open release.

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Emulator / Platform Engineer to execute within the XR/AR space for a high level enterprise portfolio. This individual will: -Land platform and API changes into the hardware emulator branch. -Clean up licensed code and prepare the emulator for public release. -Fix regressions and stabilize the emulator. -Build automated tests to catch regressions on publicly released emulators. -Migrate hardware-in-the-loop correctness and functional tests to virtual devices. -Integrate with CI/CD test systems so virtual devices can be leased for post-submit suites. -Participate in the CI/CD test response rotation for automated test failures.

This role can pay between $75-80 depending on skillset and years of experience.
