Senior Developer - Microsoft/Azure Stack

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Azure Software Engineer to join an Investment Banking client in NYC supporting enterprise cloud initiatives. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Azure-based solutions while working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams. We are looking for a strong software developer who can not only build solutions but also confidently present recommendations, communicate with clients, and propose the best architecture to solve business challenges. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week onsite in NYC.

Key Responsibilities:

•Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure technologies. •Evaluate business requirements and recommend optimal solution architectures. •Develop and maintain Azure integrations and enterprise applications. •Build ETL and data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory or similar tools. •Integrate systems such as ServiceNow, Workday, and other enterprise applications. •Develop secure, scalable, and high-performing applications and services. •Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support. •Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate technical solutions effectively. •Present technical recommendations to clients and leadership teams.

Skills and Requirements

•7+ years of experience as a developer •Strong hands-on experience with: C#, .NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Azure •Experience with Azure Functions, API Management, Azure Service Bus, and Event Grid. •Experience building integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and ETL processes. •Experience developing cloud-based applications and services. •Strong problem-solving and architecture design skills. •Excellent verbal communication and presentation abilities. •Ability to interact directly with clients and business leaders. ·Experience with Azure DevOps, including continuous integration and continuous deployment ·Experience with Databricks or large-scale data processing ·Experience with React/Angular application development. ·Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment ·Microsoft Certification
