- FDOT Category 1 and Category 2 bridge design experience
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering and FDOT design standards
- Experience with bridge component design including prestressed beams, piers, and foundations
- Experience using Conspan, RCPIER, and other bridge design tools
- Knowledge of CADD (including 3D) Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Engineer of Record experience
- Experience mentoring junior engineers, designers, and interns
- Constructability review and quality control experience
- Proposal support and business development experience

Job Description
This person will serve as a senior technical bridge engineer responsible for designing and reviewing bridge structures, performing engineering calculations, and developing plans, specifications, and technical reports. They will lead or support bridge design efforts, provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers, conduct quality control and constructability reviews, and coordinate with project teams to deliver successful projects. The role also involves participating in client interactions, supporting proposal efforts, performing field investigations when needed, and serving as a technical subject matter expert on FDOT bridge projects.
