Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting 4+ years of EXTERNAL AUDIT experience Recent external audit experience Public accounting or audit-firm experience Experience auditing Private and/or CIPS clients Strong understanding of audit methodology Knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Big 4 audit experience (PwC, EY, Deloitte, or KPMG) CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced external audit professionals to support audit engagements across privately held companies and Consumer & Industrial Products & Services clients.

Ideal candidates will have recent public accounting experience performing external financial statement audits and exposure to either private companies or CIPS-related industries. The underlying skill set is external audit. CIPS and Private describe the preferred client/industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

Perform external financial statement audit procedures Execute audit testing and document conclusions Evaluate internal controls and audit evidence Identify and communicate audit issues Work directly with client stakeholders throughout engagements Manage multiple audit priorities and deadlines Support engagement teams during busy season
