Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Security Project Specialist to work on-site in San Diego, CA. This person will contribute to multiple projects at a time, being able to oversee and execute security systems installation projects for a variety of customer sites. In this role, you will work with an installation team and be responsible for driving installation deliverables on each site; from interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams to head-end installation tasks including programming, testing, and troubleshooting security systems. You will be responsible for completing individual tasks and may occasionally be responsible for overseeing the work of other installers, which would include delegating tasks and provide hands-on technical guidance to ensure projects are completed properly. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with project managers and customers, verifying work quality, maintaining accurate documentation, and enforcing safety compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong electrical or low-voltage expertise, mechanical aptitude, and proven leadership experience in overseeing security system installation tasks and has the potential to mentor junior technicians. This position will regularly travel to client sites throughout San Diego County, and when not on a client site, work in the office in Kearny Mesa.
