Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have Skills/ years of experience:

• Valid driver’s license, held for at least two years before the application date and maintained throughout employment.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks, security clearances, training, and site-specific certifications.
• Basic proficiency with computers, email, electronic security systems, and report-writing applications.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments.
• Ability to meet the position’s physical requirements, including extended standing and walking, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, reaching, and handling equipment.
• Availability to work the assigned schedule and periodically cover other shifts as needed.

Education: High school diploma or GED

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Nice to have skills:

• Relevant military, law-enforcement, corporate-security, aviation-security, or contract-security experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, law enforcement, emergency management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered, including significant relevant experience in place of formal education.

Job Description

Day-to-Day:

Role focuses on maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring cameras and access control systems, patrolling assigned areas, checking credentials, responding to alarms, writing clear incident reports, and coordinating with site staff or emergency services when needed. It’s mostly independent but should stay in contact with the supervisor and other departments.
