The ideal candidate will bring a strong software development background, with C++ as the primary programming language, along with significant experience developing or modifying military simulation environments.

This person will work alongside Army Aviation subject matter experts, engineers, and analysts to translate operational challenges and future capability requirements into simulation-based analyses that inform Army decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute mission-level simulation scenarios supporting capability assessments and requirements development.
  • Support military simulations such as AFSIM, VR-Forces, NGTS, EADSIM, ITASE, OneSAF, JSAF, or comparable simulation environments.
  • Utilize Python and other scripting solutions for simulation support, automation, data processing, and statistical analysis.
  • Model and analyze military systems and operational scenarios involving aviation and other relevant mission capabilities.
  • Conduct quantitative analyses to evaluate alternative capabilities, force structures, mission concepts, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with Army Aviation SMEs, engineers, and analysts to translate operational concepts and mission requirements into executable simulation environments.
