Job Description
The Electrical Engineer will provide hands-on production support for IRST hardware, focusing on testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and programming electrical hardware and circuit-card assemblies. This individual will work directly on the production floor to identify and resolve hardware issues, maintain accurate manufacturing documentation, and support on-time product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Test, troubleshoot, debug, and program IRST production WRAs, including receivers, processors, IMUs, pods, and related circuit-card assemblies. Diagnose electrical hardware failures and independently isolate production issues down to the appropriate component or assembly level. Use Windchill to retrieve engineering drawings, reference Manufacturing Process Plans (MPPs), document completed process steps and maintain configuration traceability. Provide hands-on engineering support to production teams to resolve issues and keep manufacturing schedules on track. Partner with day-shift engineers, quality teams, suppliers, and manufacturing personnel to communicate findings and corrective actions.
