Job Description

An employer is seeing a Sr Scrum Master in Autin, TX. The Senior Scrum Master will provide Agile delivery leadership for the customer's project, supporting the Insight Global engineering and quality teams delivering capabilities on the Poly 5.x platform. The role will facilitate sprint execution, backlog and delivery planning, dependency management, risk identification, status reporting, and stakeholder communication across interconnected engineering workstreams.

The ideal candidate combines strong Scrum and Agile delivery experience with the ability to operate effectively in a technically complex software engineering environment. Project Trinity brings HP Poly’s PolyApp to its target state on PolyOS 5.x, moving from the legacy PolyOS 4.x application on Android 11 to the new PolyOS 5.x application on Android 13, The program spans SDK development, Web UI, REST and Telnet APIs, platform engineering and release enablement, and quality engineering, delivered by a distributed team with U.S. leadership in Austin and engineering capacity in Hyderabad, India. This position is best suited for an experienced Scrum Master who operates beyond basic ceremony facilitation. Project Trinity requires a delivery leader who understands how software engineering teams work and can connect sprint-level execution to dependencies, risks, release priorities, and the broader program roadmap. The Senior Scrum Master is not expected to make technical architecture decisions; instead, this individual creates the delivery structure that keeps technical leads and engineers aligned, surfaces blockers early, and maintains consistent execution across workstreams.

Additional information on Ideal Candidate:

The perfect candidate has supported technically complex device, platform, or software engineering programs and can walk into a discussion involving multiple workstreams, identify where dependencies or blockers exist, organize the conversation, assign follow-up, and maintain visibility until issues are resolved. The candidate is comfortable working alongside highly technical Android OS, Full Stack, Platform, and QA engineers without needing to be the technical authority, and is organized, proactive, and direct in communication with both U.S. and India-based team members.
