SAP Development Manager

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-10 years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA technical development experience.
• Strong ABAP development background with the ability to personally develop, debug, review, and troubleshoot code.
• Experience building SAP integrations with third-party applications using APIs, web services, middleware, and/or SAP integration technologies.
• Experience with SAP environments heavily focused on finance and financial processes rather than manufacturing.
• Experience leading developers, conducting code reviews, and maintaining technical standards.
• Ability to work effectively with offshore development teams and external implementation partners.
• Strong communication skills and a hands-on, ownership-oriented approach.
• Prior formal management experience is not required. Strong technical leads who have led developers or offshore resources are encouraged to apply.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• SAP BTP / Integration Suite experience.
• SAP Basis knowledge.
• .NET familiarity, particularly working with .NET applications that integrate with SAP.
• Experience integrating SAP with Concur or other third-party finance platforms.

Job Description

A client in the entertainment space is seeking a hands-on Manager, SAP Integration & Development to serve as a key technical lead across its SAP S/4HANA environment. This person will own SAP development and integration standards, remain actively involved in coding and technical delivery, and help lead a small team of onshore and offshore resources. This is an ideal opportunity for either an experienced SAP technical manager or a strong SAP Technical Lead ready to step into a manager-level role.
