Safety Specialist

Required Skills & Experience

• Safety experience within a manufacturing environment (bachelors degree preferred)
• Hands-on incident investigation experience
• Strong root cause analysis (RCA) skills
• Experience developing and/or conducting safety trainings
• Ability to train both contractors and internal employees Strong project management skills with the ability to manage safety initiatives from start to finish

Job Description

This candidate will play a hands-on role in supporting site safety through incident investigations, root cause analysis, employee and contractor training, and project-based safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing background and be comfortable working directly with employees and contractors to identify risks, drive corrective actions, and strengthen the overall safety culture. Bilingual Korean/English capabilities are highly preferred.

• Lead and support workplace incident investigations
• Perform root cause analyses and help implement corrective/preventive actions
• Conduct safety training for contractors and internal employees
• Manage project-based safety initiatives across the manufacturing site
• Partner with employees, contractors, and site leadership to reinforce safe work practices
• Identify safety risks and opportunities for continuous improvement Track corrective actions and ensure safety-related projects are completed effectively
