Original job description
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of experience in staffing coordination, resource management, recruiting operations, or contingent workforce program support
Experience working directly with staffing agencies or an MSP - you know how submittals, bill rates, SOWs, and markup structures work
Strong organizational skills - you'll be juggling dozens of open reqs, multiple agency relationships, and competing assignment manager timelines simultaneously
Comfortable in JIRA, Rippling (or similar HRIS), and Slack
Responsive and proactive communicator - assignment managers and staffing partners need to trust that you're on top of their requests
Familiarity with compliance requirements for contingent workers (background checks, ITAR, SSCR, etc.) is a strong plus
Experience with interview scheduling at scale - coordinating across time zones, multiple panel members, and external candidates
Able to context-switch between strategic coordination and tactical execution - some days are pipeline reviews, other days are clearing a backlog
Defense industry or government contractor experience is a plus but not required
Job Description
About the Role
The Extended Workforce Program supports Anduril's growing contingent workforce across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate functions. We're looking for a Resource Manager on an initial 6-month contract engagement to own the upstream side of our contractor operations - managing requisitions, coordinating with staffing partners, scheduling interviews, and ensuring new contractor requests move from intake to start date without bottlenecks.
You'll report to the Senior Manager and work alongside the Operations Specialist and Operations Coordinator, with regular interaction with assignment managers across the business and multiple staffing agency contacts. What You'll Do
Own the contractor requisition pipeline from intake to start which entails: collect requirements from assignment managers (role, rate, duration, location, clearance level, etc), enter identified talent into tracking systems, and keep requests moving
Coordinate with staffing partners on candidate submittals, interview scheduling, rate negotiations, and start date logistics
Schedule and coordinate contractor interviews between staffing agency candidates, Anduril assignment managers, and site leads
Communicate with Anduril assignment managers on contractor status, extensions, performance, and any issues that come up during engagements
Manage the end date calendar by proactively flag upcoming expirations, initiate extension workflows, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Track and clear the extension backlog, coordinating with business approvers to ensure requests are progressing
Maintain staffing partner pipeline tracking; who's been submitted, where they are in the process, and what's stuck
Respond to Slack messages and inquiries from assignment managers and staffing partners across CW channels
Assist with rate benchmarking by pulling comp data to support rate guidance by role, level, and location
Help maintain SOPs, Confluence documentation, and process playbooks for req management and partner engagement workflows
Step into operational support as needed - this is a small team, and everyone pitches in on onboarding coordination, JIRA ticket triage, and inbox management, etc.
