Remote Telecommunication Project Manager I

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager I for our telecommunications client. This individual will support Senior Project Managers in the successful delivery of customer-facing infrastructure and technology projects focused on telecommunications equipment installation and network deployments. Projects may include implementations involving Juniper networking equipment, Starlink connectivity solutions, fiber optic infrastructure, and microwave communications systems. The ideal candidate is a highly organized project professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong critical thinking skills. This person will be responsible for maintaining schedules, coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking project deliverables, identifying risks and dependencies, and ensuring projects stay on track. Success in this role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, customer-facing professionalism, and the ability to understand how project decisions impact the overall critical path. This individual must work in Alaska Timezone 8:00-5:00pm.

Skills and Requirements

2-3 years of project coordination or project management

Basic understanding of project management methodologies and project lifecycle management

Critical path thinking and ability to identify schedule impacts, dependencies, and risks

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Microsoft Project) Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related field

CAPM certification or pursuit of PMP certification

Telecommunications industry experience

Exposure to Juniper, Starlink, Fiber Optic, Microwave, Wireless, or Broadband projects

Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or other PM tools
