Remote PowerBI Developer

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of BI/reporting experience, ideally 5+ years
• Strong hands-on Power BI development experience
• Strong SQL skills for querying, analysis, troubleshooting, and data validation
• Experience working with Snowflake
• Strong understanding of BI, data, and reporting fundamentals
• Experience gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders
• Ability to translate business needs into reporting and data solutions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to independently lead requirements conversations and drive work forward

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Financial services or banking experience
• BSA/AML, fraud, or financial-crime reporting experience
• Experience supporting reporting or data modernization initiatives
• ThoughtSpot experience
• Actimize exposure

Job Description

• Partner directly with BSA/AML stakeholders to understand reporting needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement
• Design, build, and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards
• Use SQL and Snowflake to investigate, validate, and troubleshoot complex data and reporting requirements
• Support reporting needs involving data flowing into and out of Actimize
• Gather and define reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Modernize existing reporting processes as Pathward transitions toward its newer cloud and enterprise data environments
• Collaborate across BSA/AML, data, technology, integration, and reporting teams
