REMOTE .NET/C# Developer

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience developing applications using .NET and C#
• Experience supporting and maintaining production applications
• Strong understanding of Windows-based application development
• Experience working with Oracle databases or Maria DB
• Experience working with HMI (Human Machine Interface) applications or manufacturing/industrial software.
• Experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong .NET and C# development experience to support and enhance a suite of mission-critical manufacturing and automation applications. This individual will work closely with both technical and business stakeholders to maintain production systems, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to ongoing enhancements for applications that interface directly with automated equipment. The ideal candidate is comfortable supporting production environments, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and has experience working with Windows-based applications, databases, and industrial or HMI-style interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for multiple production applications used in an automation and manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues impacting operations.
• Develop and enhance Windows-based applications using .NET and C#.
• Support a newly implemented application platform and assist with ongoing improvements and feature development.
• Work with applications that communicate with automation equipment through a hardware abstraction/extraction layer.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, vendors, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve issues.
• Perform database queries, updates, and troubleshooting activities.
• Participate in application deployments, testing, and production support activities.
• Contribute to long-term modernization and optimization initiatives.

Pay rate: $50/hour
