Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years in Engineering specific to BAS. Either schematic design or software design.
- Strong knowledge of a major BAS platform like WebCTRL, Metasys, Desigo, EBI, etc
- Demonstrated experience with site specific design and programming based on customer requirements.
- Knowledge and participation in the commissioning process
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Professional Engineer License
- Data Center/Mission Critical specific experience
- Experience in both the schematic design and software programming of intricate BAS systems.
Job Description
Day to Day:
Responsible for designing, programming, commissioning, and leading the implementation of building automation and energy management systems for commercial facilities in both the Mission Critical and Retail space.
This Engineer with serve as the technical lead for projects, coordinating with project managers, field technicians, contractors, and clients. They will be responsible for: Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and control schematics. Ensuring systems meet customer requirements, energy efficiency goals, and industry standards. Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians. Supporting project documentation, training, and customer handoff activities.
