Required Skills & Experience

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a remote Senior Java Developer responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise healthcare payer and provider integration applications using Java and Spring Boot. They will develop and support integrations using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), build and maintain REST APIs, services, and integration components, and troubleshoot application issues across upstream and downstream systems. This resource will participate throughout the full development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. They will write clean, scalable, and maintainable Java code, perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and defect resolution, and collaborate with application, integration, QA, infrastructure, and business teams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable analyzing existing applications for enhancements and performance improvements while independently managing assigned development work and driving tasks through completion with minimal supervision.
