Job Description

A global manufacturing company is seeking a strong B2B-EDI Integration Techno-Functional Lead to join their team to support long-term, ongoing enterprise initiatives. This is an immediate, ongoing engagement and can sit remotely anywhere in India.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and rollout of next-generation B2B integration solutions, enabling migration from legacy VAN/network providers to a hybrid model combining direct EDI, APIs, digital portals, and AI/agentic automation.
  • Design and implement scalable, multi-channel integration solutions supporting EDI (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, VDA), customer portals for non-EDI partners, API-based real-time integrations, and AI-driven conversion of unstructured transactions (e.g., PDF/email-based sales orders, invoices) into structured formats.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions supporting Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and logistics processes, including automation of document-driven transactions.
  • Optimize the enterprise B2B/EDI integration practices and platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, reliability, and support for diverse transaction types and partner capabilities.
  • Define and execute trading partner onboarding and migration strategies, including transition from legacy VAN/network providers to direct integrations, enablement of portal and AI-based intake for non-EDI partners, and standardization of customer and vendor integrations across regions and business processes.
  • Architect seamless data flows between SAP and external partners, ensuring alignment with order to cash, logistics, and warehouse processes, including integration of AI-extracted transactional data.
  • Establish and enforce EDI standards, message guidelines, and integration governance to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across global B2B integrations.
  • Operate effectively in a matrix organization while leading a team of 3–5 IT specialists.
