Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineer or related field 5+ years of experience within reliability and maintainability Understanding with probability, statistical analysis, and failure-rate evaluation Hands-on experience conducting FMEA, FMECA, and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) Experience creating reliability predictions, Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs), Ability to evaluate test and field data to identify failure trends and support root cause investigations and corrective actions

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Reliability Engineer to support defense systems through design, development, testing, and sustainment. This individual will focus on improving system reliability, availability, and maintainability by evaluating design risks, analyzing failure behavior, and using reliability data to influence engineering decisions.

The Reliability Engineer will partner with systems, hardware, software, manufacturing, and test teams to assess product performance and identify opportunities to improve long-term system effectiveness. This role will also support reliability modeling, failure investigations, test strategy, and technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle. This is 100% onsite position in Huntsville, AL and requires the ability to obtain a US Clearance.
