- 5-7 years of Release Management experience
- Strong Agile and DevOps experience
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo/CI-CD tooling
- Release calendar ownership across multiple application/technology teams
- Cross-team dependency management o Identify dependency owners, track commitments, and hold teams accountable
- Experience managing multiple concurrent releases
Job Description
- Own and maintain the release calendar across multiple application and technology teams
- Plan and coordinate upcoming software releases
- Track release dates, milestones, dependencies, conflicts, and schedule changes
- Coordinate across Product, Engineering, QA, Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and other stakeholders
- Identify owners of individual dependencies and drive them to completion
- Facilitate release planning and readiness meetings
- Coordinate go/no-go decisions before production releases
- Confirm testing, approvals, controls, and dependencies are complete
- Identify releases at risk and drive mitigation plans
- Escalate blockers and missed commitments when necessary
- Provide concise release updates to technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership
- Coordinate release execution through production
- Manage exceptions to the standard release process
- Continuously improve release processes, controls, reporting, and visibility
- Identify opportunities to automate manual release-management activities
