Job Description
A global manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking a Regional Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Lead to join their team. This individual will oversee HSE strategy and execution across six manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Canada, partnering with plant leadership and site HSE teams to standardize programs, strengthen regulatory compliance, reduce risk, and drive a proactive safety culture across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and standardize HSE programs, policies, training, and best practices across seven manufacturing sites.
- Partner with Plant Managers and site HSE teams to identify risks, close gaps, and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee incident and near-miss investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Support compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, environmental, permitting, and fire/life safety requirements.
- Conduct site audits and inspections and support local teams with regulatory matters.
- Track regional HSE performance and communicate key metrics, risks, and trends to leadership.
- Coach site HSE teams and operational leaders to strengthen safety ownership and accountability. Travel regularly across the region to provide hands-on HSE leadership and site support.
