This temporary role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both day-to-day recruiting operations and one of the most significant HR technology transformations occurring within Weyerhaeuser.
Job Description
This is a temp Recruiting opportunity supporting Weyerhaeuser's Talent Acquisition team. We expect the role to be 3-6 months and serve as a key operational resource helping to maintain recruiting continuity while we go through a system transition, supporting posting management and recruiting process execution throughout the HR technology cutover. This position is ideal for a recruiting professional who enjoys balancing recruiting operations, applicant tracking systems, process coordination, and stakeholder support. While this role will manage assigned salaried requisitions and partner directly with hiring managers, it is not expected to perform proactive sourcing, headhunting, or cold-calling activities. Weyerhaeuser is undergoing a significant transformation as we implement UKG and transition recruiting operations from Taleo. During this period, we are seeking a Recruiting Generalist who can provide day-to-day recruiting support while helping ensure a smooth migration of recruiting processes, job postings, and data. This role will serve as an important bridge between recruiting operations and system implementation activities. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of salaried job requisitions, coordinate recruitment activities from posting through offer stages, support hiring managers and candidates, and assist the Talent Acquisition team with recruiting-related cleanup and transition work associated with the UKG implementation. We are a collaborative, fast-paced team that values flexibility, customer service, continuous improvement, and a willingness to jump in wherever support is needed. Success in this role will come from strong organization, attention to detail, process discipline, and the ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers and HR partners. In This Role You will partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and project team members to support both active recruiting activities and Talent Acquisition operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong recruiting coordination and requisition management experience, enjoy working with data and systems, and be comfortable navigating change as processes evolve throughout the UKG implementation.
