• 2+ years in a Revenue Cycle Business Analyst Role
• Strong understanding of healthcare Revenue Cycle operations and workflows
• Understanding of the end-to-end Revenue Cycle, ideally from patient access/pre-registration through billing, payment, remittance, and accounts receivable. •Experience working with healthcare applications, EMRs, Revenue Cycle platforms, or financial systems.

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with strong Revenue Cycle knowledge to support Revenue Cycle Informatics, reporting, and application-related needs. This individual will work directly with business stakeholders to understand requests, gather requirements, establish priorities, analyze Revenue Cycle workflows, and determine how existing technology can support business needs. This is not a hands-on application build or configuration role. The Business Systems Analyst will act as the bridge between Revenue Cycle users, internal technology teams, and external partners supporting the applications. The ideal candidate understands the full Revenue Cycle lifecycle, from pre-registration and registration through billing, remittances, and accounts receivable. Experience can come from a variety of EMR or Revenue Cycle environments, as the role is not tied to one specific platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and end users to gather, clarify, and document requirements.
• Manage incoming requests, assess business needs, and help establish priorities across competing initiatives.
• Analyze end-to-end Revenue Cycle workflows, including pre-registration, registration, billing, claims, remittances, and accounts receivable.
• Translate Revenue Cycle business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Evaluate existing system capabilities and help determine how technology can support business requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between Revenue Cycle stakeholders, internal technology teams, and external partners.
• Coordinate issues, requests, and enhancements across multiple applications and vendors.
• Support Revenue Cycle Informatics and reporting-related initiatives.
• Identify workflow gaps and opportunities for process or technology improvements.
• Assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution by identifying business impact, priority, ownership, and appropriate next steps.
• Maintain documentation around requirements, workflows, requests, and decisions.
• Independently manage multiple requests and priorities within a large, complex healthcare environment.
