Radiologist Technician

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a full-time opportunity with a respected hospital system in Kansas. This individual will perform diagnostic imaging procedures while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate is experienced in both general radiography and CT imaging and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and image quality.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities Perform diagnostic radiographic and CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging exams while ensuring comfort and safety Operate and maintain radiology and CT equipment in accordance with established standards Review images for quality and completeness before submission for interpretation Adhere to radiation safety practices and infection control procedures Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the hospital's systems Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care Assist with departmental workflow and contribute to a positive patient experience

Skills and Requirements

Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) in the state of Kansas Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in good standing Current Computed Tomography (CT) certification through ARRT Basic Life Support (BLS) with AED certification through the American Heart Association, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire Previous hospital-based radiology experience
