Quality Inspector

Required Skills & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in manufacturing, machining, or additive manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience with 3D printing/filament-based additive manufacturing or mechanical assembly, or strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to be trained.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
• Comfortable following detailed written work instructions and safety procedures exactly.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, remain standing or on foot for extended periods, and work overtime hours as production requires.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with filament-based 3D printing materials (e.g., PETG, ASA, or carbon-fiber-reinforced filaments).
• Experience with mechanical assembly using adhesives, threaded inserts, and hand tools.
• Proficiency with digital print-prep software.
• Experience in a regulated, high-hazard, or defense-manufacturing environment.

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Inspector to join a high-growth production team in Del Valle, TX. You will act as the last checkpoint before a component or assembly moves to the next stage of production or out the door. You will work across mechanical, electrical, and 3D-printed assemblies. As a Quality Inspector, you'll be the first line of defense against defects: performing in-process and final inspections, verifying parts against drawings and specifications, and making consistent accept/reject calls at production tempo.
