Required Skills & Experience
- 1+ year of combined professional, internship, co-op, or hands-on project experience with hardware testing, firmware, or embedded systems.
- Basic Python and comfort with the Linux command line.
- Hands-on experience with hardware, including multimeters and USB and serial connections.
An ideal candidate also has:
- A BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Exposure to embedded firmware, RTOS (Zephyr, FreeRTOS), or BLE and wireless protocols.
- Experience with Git, Jira, and CI systems such as Buildkite or Jenkins.
- Familiarity with pytest or similar test frameworks.
- Experience with soldering, JTAG, logic analyzers, or oscilloscopes.
- A track record of clear, detailed bug reports.
- Interest in using AI tooling to speed up test development.
