Job Description
Position Summary Redwood Electric Group is seeking an Electrical QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and quality control for large commercial and mission-critical electrical construction projects. This position works closely with project management, field leadership, commissioning teams, and the general contractor to ensure installations meet contract documents, applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, and project quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the project electrical QA/QC plan, inspection checklists, and quality procedures. Review drawings, specifications, approved submittals, and manufacturer instructions to verify installation requirements. Perform field inspections of electrical distribution equipment, grounding and bonding, raceways, cable tray, conductors, terminations, lighting, and associated systems. Coordinate required inspections, testing, and documentation with field crews, subcontractors, testing agencies, and commissioning teams. Verify completion and documentation of testing, including insulation resistance, continuity, torque verification, grounding, and other specified acceptance tests. Coordinate quality requirements and inspection milestones with the project schedule to support equipment energization and turnover. Maintain inspection records, test reports, equipment checklists, deficiency logs, and turnover documentation.
