Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced QA Lead to support a software quality engineering team responsible for end-to-end application quality. This individual will combine hands-on technical testing with QA leadership, mentoring, and ownership of overall testing strategy and execution. The role is approximately 40% QA leadership, 30% test automation, and 30% manual testing. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of quality assurance experience and remain highly hands-on with modern automation technologies, particularly Playwright, TypeScript, Selenium, C#, and SQL.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor QA team members while maintaining hands-on involvement in testing.
• Own end-to-end software quality across assigned applications and initiatives.
• Provide QA leadership around testing strategy, execution, quality standards, and delivery.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Perform manual testing where appropriate based on application and project requirements.
• Build and maintain automation using Playwright, Selenium, TypeScript, and C#.
• Perform database validation and testing using SQL.
• Use AI-assisted testing techniques to create test cases, develop test scripts, and prepare test data.
• Partner with technical teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Mentor QA engineers and help drive consistent testing practices across the team.
