Job Description

A large financial organization is seeking a Senior Quality Automation Engineer that will sit onsite 4 days a week in Farmington Hills Michigan for a contract role. We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to own automated testing across the front-end and backend of a new Wealth Management application. The goal is to incorporate automated testing directly into the development and deployment lifecycle rather than relying on manual testing after deployment. This engineer should be comfortable writing automation code and collaborating directly with developers, DevOps engineers, and quality engineering resources.

Key Responsibilities

Develop automated tests for both front-end and backend applications Build end-to-end automation coverage Develop UI automation using Selenium Develop automated API testing Write automated tests that execute within CI/CD pipelines Support unit, integration, API, regression, and end-to-end testing Work with development and DevOps teams to shift testing earlier in the SDLC Integrate automated tests into application deployment pipelines Partner with QE resources to understand and adopt bank testing standards Identify defects and work directly with engineers through remediation Help ensure releases meet production quality and compliance expectations
