Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of civil engineering experience.
• BS in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with utility-scale solar, BESS, substations, or large infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater, permitting, and construction support.
• Experience managing external engineering firms and EPC contractors

• PE preferred.

Job Description

Lead civil due diligence reviews, including ALTA surveys, geotechnical and environmental assessments, permitting, drainage, and grading, while managing and reviewing EOR deliverables through the 30%, 60%, 90%, and IFC design milestones. Support design automation for BESS projects, project development, constructability reviews, CAPEX estimates, and value engineering, while coordinating with EORs, EPCs, surveyors, geotechnical consultants, and internal engineering teams. Review RFIs, change orders, and construction issues throughout project execution, support hydrology, drainage, roadway, grading, and other site development activities, and provide technical leadership for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects. This position pays between $45-55 an hour.
