Required Skills & Experience

MUST HAVES

3+ years of electronic/physical security design experience, 1 year MINIMUM of DATA CENTER EXPERIENCE Experience designing Access Control, CCTV/Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, and Intercom systems 3+ years of AutoCAD experience Experience producing design drawings, engineered layouts, and as-built documentation Experience creating and revising submittal packages Strong coordination with Project Managers, Sales, Operations, and Customers Bluebeam proficiency

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PLUSES Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Experience working for an integrator such as Siemens, JCI, Securitas Technology, Everon, etc. Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and security regulations Security industry certifications or licenses Experience leading or reviewing designs completed by junior designers

Job Description

DAY TO DAY

Create security system designs and drawings for access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and intercom systems Develop project documentation from design through as-built phases Create and revise submittal packages for customer approval Review project scope and gather design requirements from Project Managers Participate in design reviews, turnover meetings, and project coordination calls Maintain project documentation and design standards Communicate project status, design revisions, and completion timelines to stakeholders Coordinate with architects, engineers, customers, sales, and operations teams throughout project execution
