Production Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

10-15 years of Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related experience.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.

Active Secret Security Clearance.

Experience supporting DoD programs.

Experience with tactical missile systems, launcher systems, weapons platforms, or similar defense products.

Strong understanding of production environments, manufacturing processes, and system integration.

Experience supporting production scale-up and manufacturing readiness efforts.

Proficiency with SolidWorks.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced production and integration environment.

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to support a DoD missile launcher program focused on production readiness, integration, and test infrastructure. This individual will play a key role in transitioning products into production, improving manufacturing processes, and ensuring successful integration of launcher systems supporting tactical missile programs.

This position is heavily focused on production engineering and manufacturing support rather than hands-on fabrication. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting defense production environments, launcher or weapons systems, and working closely with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program teams.
