Product Manager - CV & ML

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally owning highly technical or emerging technology products.
• Proven experience building and launching Machine Learning or Computer Vision products from concept through production.
• Strong understanding of the ML product lifecycle, including working with engineering/data science teams on model performance, data requirements, edge cases, testing, and production deployment.
• Experience owning 0-to-1 product development, including defining requirements, building roadmaps, prioritizing features, and driving execution through launch.
• Ability to translate complex technical challenges into clear product requirements and measurable business/customer outcomes.
• Experience partnering closely with engineering, ML/data science, UX, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Comfortable working with large and complex datasets and using data to guide product decisions.
• High sense of urgency and ownership. Must be a proactive, fast-moving product leader who can quickly learn a complex problem space and push initiatives forward.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with RFID, IoT, sensors, edge computing, or other connected-device technologies.
• Retail, e-commerce, supply chain, or physical-store technology experience.
• Experience delivering Computer Vision solutions that operate in real-world environments where model accuracy and edge cases directly impact the customer/member experience.
• Familiarity with modern cloud-based ML and Computer Vision technology stacks.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience.

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Computer Vision, Machine Learning Product expert for a global retailer. This is a zero-to-one new product to explore. The ideal candidates have experience building and launching new ML and CV products. This project is technical, and a collection of edge case failures we need to solve for the member. Candidates should have experience with machine learning models with some proven outcomes delivering on those types of products (less interested in large language model/ChatGPT/chat bot types of products).
