Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of experience developing and supporting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps, including Canvas and Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365. Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with SQL Server, Azure services, REST APIs, and third-party systems. Strong understanding of data modeling, relational databases, application architecture, solution design, DevOps/ALM, security, and Power Platform governance. Proficiency with SQL, JSON, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and REST APIs. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
A hands-on Power Platform Developer who has personally built end-to-end business applications and can confidently speak to the user interface, MS SQL backend, integrations, Power Automate workflows, approvals, security, and overall solution architecture. The ideal candidate is a true application developer rather than someone whose experience is primarily focused on Power BI reporting.
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to build and modernize internal business applications. This individual will support several planned initiatives, including developing a new application to manage Power BI security requests and approvals and creating additional forms for user data-change requests.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Power Platform development experience with strong hands-on expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, MS SQL, and integrations. This person should be comfortable building user-facing applications, developing backend functionality, and working directly with stakeholders to translate business processes into scalable solutions.
