Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of experience in People operations, workforce operations, or a high-volume coordination role
Comfortable working in JIRA, Rippling (or similar HRIS), and Slack - you don't need to be an expert, but you should be able to pick up new systems quickly
Strong attention to detail - you're tracking hundreds of contractors across multiple systems and locations, and accuracy matters
Able to manage a high volume of inbound requests without losing track of priorities
Clear, responsive communicator - you'll be the person staffing agencies, contractors, and internal teams reach out to daily
Experience working with staffing agencies or managed service providers is a plus
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and urgency is real
Job Description
The Extended Workforce Program manages the full lifecycle of Anduril's contingent workforce - onboarding, offboarding, extensions, and day-to-day operational support across multiple locations nationwide. We're looking for an Operations Coordinator to join the team on an initial 6-month contract engagement and take ownership of core operational workflows that keep hundreds of active contractors running smoothly.
You'll be embedded in the daily rhythm of the program: processing tickets in JIRA, entering and maintaining contractor records in Rippling, coordinating IT setup and access provisioning, managing the shared inbox, and keeping assignment managers, staffing partners, and contractors informed at every step. This role supports the Operations Specialist and reports to the Senior Manager and the broader People Ops, IT, and Security teams. What You'll Do
Process contractor onboarding, offboarding, and extension tickets in JIRA (BO project) status transitions, sub-ticket creation, routing, and follow-up
Enter and maintain contractor records in Rippling, including individual entries and bulk uploads for weekly onboarding classes
Track Rippling completion, ID verification, Okta account creation, and Bouncer/Persona background check results for every incoming contractor
Manage the team inbox to triage inquiries from contractors, staffing agencies, and internal teams, and route or resolve accordingly
Coordinate with IT on Okta provisioning, Slack access, Yubikey distribution, and hardware shipments across all locations
Schedule contractors for IT onboarding sessions and manage the onboarding calendar across locations
Process offboards: coordinate access removal, hardware return, and timing with employers
Track and surface pending extension approvals chase business approvers, and flag aging tickets
Respond to Slack messages across CW channels and group DMs to provide status updates to assignment managers, staffing partners, and Anduril assignment managers
Fix data discrepancies in Rippling and JIRA as they arise
Coordinate with staffing partner contacts on onboarding logistics, start dates, documentation, and compliance requirements
Own background attestation management by track outstanding BGC attestation forms, follow up with contractors and employers, ensure compliance documentation is complete and uploaded to profile in Rippling
