Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Full-Time Nursing Faculty member for a higher education client in Indianapolis. This candidate will leverage their hands-on RN experience to teach, mentor, and develop the next generation of nurses across classroom and clinical learning environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bedside RN who enjoys precepting, training new nurses, or mentoring students and is ready to step away from overnight shifts and bedside burnout while remaining in the nursing profession. Prior teaching or faculty experience is not required. The position offers a primarily daytime schedule, a 9-month fall and spring appointment, optional summer earning opportunities, benefits starting day one, and a college retirement contribution equal to 10% of pay.

Day-to-Day:

  • Teach and support nursing students in classroom and clinical settings
  • Apply real-world clinical nursing experience to student education
  • Mentor and develop future nurses
  • Coach students on nursing concepts and clinical skills
  • Support students as they transition from academic learning into clinical practice
  • Work primarily during daytime hours throughout the fall and spring terms
  • Opportunity to work during the summer for additional compensation
