Multicloud Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or enterprise infrastructure, including 3+ years supporting production cloud environments. 2+ years of hands-on GCP experience, plus strong Terraform and GitHub experience. Working knowledge of AWS and Azure, along with a relevant professional cloud certification. A current Google Cloud certification is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience: associate’s + 6 years, or high school/GED + 8 years.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Enterprise GCP landing-zone design experience. Hybrid or multicloud connectivity, Kubernetes, and cloud security controls. Experience in a regulated or highly governed environment. Healthcare or academic medical center experience. Current Google Professional Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer, Network Engineer, or Security Engineer certification.

Job Description

Day To Day:

Design, build, automate, secure, and support enterprise cloud platforms, primarily within GCP. Manage cloud networking, IAM, compute, storage, Kubernetes, serverless, backup, and hybrid connectivity across GCP, AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments. Provision cloud resources using Terraform, GitHub, CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code. Troubleshoot cloud platform, networking, identity, performance, reliability, and integration issues. Apply security, compliance, governance, monitoring, disaster recovery, and cost-optimization standards. Partner with architecture, security, networking, DevOps, application, and infrastructure teams while leading cloud initiatives and mentoring junior engineers.
