Mold Maintenance Technician (2nd shift)

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

• HS diploma with 3+ years of experience as a maintenance technician or some college classes.
• Electrical and mechanical background with knowledge of electrical theory, troubleshooting, & the want to learn.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred:

• Experience reading blueprints/schematics, hydraulic equipment, & using a multimeter.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, components, and code requirements.
• Ability to safely work with 480V systems.
• Experience in molding, plastics, or automotive manufacturing environments.
• Fabrication experience.
• Familiarity with total productive maintenance (TPM) systems.

Job Description

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Mold Maintenance Technician that will be working on plastic injection molding presses, along with other maintenance‑related tasks associated with the role. This technician supports molding operations by repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure safe and efficient production. Daily work includes performing preventative maintenance, identifying mechanical and electrical issues, replacing components, and ensuring all machinery meets safety and code requirements. The role also collaborates with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.

Shift Hours: 3pm to 11:30pm

Compensation: $28-35/hr Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.
