Mobile Service Technician

Required Skills & Experience

-2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician -Self-sufficient, highly organized and comfortable working independently and as part of a team -Knowledge of High Voltage systems, Low Voltage systems, and Electric Vehicle powertrain -Customer facing experience exhibiting excellent written and verbal communication skills -Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software -EPA 609 Certification -Willingness to complete provided CPR training post hire -Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year. -Drivers under 21 must have maintained a Driver’s License for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete training upon hire

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, L4 - ADAS) -Previous Mobile Service Technician experience -Previous experience with EV diagnosis and repair -Experience in luxury automobile repair environments

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to work onsite for an Electric Vehicle company in Mclean, Virginia. This position would be responsible for traveling within a 20–25-mile radius to client locations and will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicles in the field. Tools and a Service Van will be provided. You will work independently as well as a team where you will have the support of the closest service location. As a Mobile Service Technician, it is expected to have ASE certifications obtained within 6-8 months of hire date. The client will reimburse the cost associated with successful completion.
