Job Description
A lead defense contractor sitting in Simi Valley, CA is looking to hire an onsite Mechanical Engineer II. This ME will be assisting with design using Solidworks and composite layups for their lightweight small group 2 UAS (this product is around 35 lbs). He/She will be working alongside their engineering team, assisting with any net new design needs. Understanding composites design and design integrity for weight is going to be very applicable. He/she will be reporting to the IPT Lead and Section Manager on the program. This will be a full-time role (M-Fri) working on a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off).
