Job Description
One of our customers is seeking an Ultrasonic Specialist. This individual will join a small, highly specialized NDI team supporting AFRL research and development efforts. They will perform advanced ultrasonic inspections on aerospace materials and structures while helping develop, validate, and improve inspection techniques used across Air Force programs. The role involves conducting inspections, analyzing data, documenting findings, supporting research projects, and collaborating with engineers, researchers, and government customers. Because the team recently lost a key specialist through retirement, they are looking for someone who can help restore critical testing capabilities and eventually become a subject matter expert in the laboratory. The workload is consistently busy, and the individual will have exposure to a variety of aerospace materials, emerging technologies, and advanced inspection methods.
