Job Description
Insight Global is partnering with a large food manufacturing client to hire a Maintenance Technician to join their Columbus, California facility. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity supporting 2nd shift (Sunday–Thursday, starting at 12:30pm), with overtime eligibility. In this role, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting emergency repairs on a variety of processing and packaging equipment, including large slicers, grinders, and stuffing equipment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable across multiple machine types, comfortable working in a cold food production environment, and able to work independently during off-shift hours. This team is particularly interested in candidates with strong electrical troubleshooting experience, as well as prior manufacturing maintenance experience (food manufacturing preferred but not required). A strong safety mindset - specifically around lockout/tagout procedures - is essential. This opportunity offers clear paths for growth within the maintenance organization, including potential advancement into specialized electrical roles over time, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include full medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, and tuition reimbursement opportunities for employees and dependents. The pay range for this role is $34.75–$48.75 per hour, with final compensation determined by the client based on experience, certifications, and interview feedback.
