Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join a client’s manufacturing facility in New Castle, IN. This individual will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, and supporting production operations to ensure equipment is running safely and efficiently.

The Maintenance Mechanic will work closely with machine operators to diagnose equipment issues, understand proper equipment calibrations, and complete repairs as needed. This role requires hands-on experience with industrial equipment, including conveyor systems, hydraulics, motors, and electrical troubleshooting using a meter.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on production and facility equipment. Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues. Maintain and repair conveyor systems, motors, and other production equipment. Use electrical meters to troubleshoot equipment and components. Work closely with machine operators to understand equipment performance and proper calibrations. Document maintenance activities and completed repairs. Follow facility safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
