Required Skills & Experience
Industrial maintenance electrician experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and production equipment. Experience with PLCs, including troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment. Ability to read electrical schematics and ladder logic. Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, specifically RSLogix 500 and/or RSLogix 5000. Experience troubleshooting or repairing motors, controls, wiring, switchgear, transformers, or similar industrial electrical equipment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Associate degree in an electrical-related field. Experience with Siemens automation, particularly TIA Portal or SIMATIC Manager. Industrial instrumentation and calibration experience. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic control systems. Experience in a high-speed manufacturing/production environment.
Job Description
Graham Packaging is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support production equipment and facility operations at its Elwood, Indiana location. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and performing preventative maintenance on industrial electrical and mechanical systems. The role will work heavily with production machinery, electrical controls, PLCs, motors, and other automated equipment to minimize downtime and maintain safe, efficient operations.
