Machinist

Required Skills & Experience

• 1 year of trade school or 3 years of hands-on machine shop experience
• 2 years of experience as a Machinist or CNC Machinist (not machine operator or press operator)
• Ability to read and interpret machining prints and meet tolerance requirements
• Knowledge of machine setup, tooling selection, and measuring equipment
• Understanding of material properties and proper machining techniques
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in a job shop environment (variety of machines and parts)
• Familiarity with CNC Lathe/Mill, grinding, and manual machining
• Experience with maintenance
